Large Print and Audio

Our branches have collections of large print and audio books. Check our online catalogue or ask a staff member for assistance to locate these items.

Staff Assisted Selection

Staff is available to assist older adults with selection of books or audiobooks based on a profile of preferences. For more information, email us or call (902) 742-2486 ext. 230.

Computers

At the Gates Computer Lab, located at the Yarmouth branch, anyone may register for the free computer classes. During Open for Older Adults held every Friday morning from 10:00 am until noon, older adults can get one-on-one help with computer use.

Library Express

Is getting to the library a problem? Not anymore! See our Library Express page. Library Express makes using your library even easier. Books are mailed to your home address, all expenses paid.

Special Needs

Our Service for Patrons with Special Needs is for anyone who, because of a physical, visual or perceptual disability, is unable to read regular print material. For more information click here.
