Hackmatack Winners

The winners of the Hackmatack Children’s Choice Book Award 2012 were announced at a ceremony on Friday, April 27 at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton, New Brunswick. Hugh Brewster, author of Prisoner of Dieppe: World War II, was the winner in the English fiction category. Catherine Rondina , received the English non-fiction award for her book Don’t Touch That Toad & Other Strange Things Adults Tell You . The winner of the French fiction category (for the second year in a row!) was Richard Petit for Ton journal intime Zone Frousse. Stéphanie C. Dubois received the award in French non-fiction for her book Le petit livre des affaires dégueulasses.
