This Index of Persons was compiled in the early 1970's, by Col. Leonard H. Smith Jr. of Clearwater, Florida. This was needed since "A Geography and History of the County of Digby" does not contain an index, which makes it very difficult to find specific information regarding individuals contained in his book.
