Marshall Town, called after Anthony Marshall, an early settler, is situated on Post Roads from Digby to Yarmouth, four
miles west of the County town. Agriculture is largely followed. The Poor Farm, owned by the Municipality of Digby,
comprising the entire County except Clare, is a part of Lot 20, originally granted to Charles Colbourne, is located in
the centre of this district.
