Out of Africa

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Children ages five to 12 can join the library staff during this African History Month program and learn about the many stories, crafts, art, musical instruments and famous people that have come out of Africa. There is no registration for this program.

Weymouth Storytellers Circle

Thursday, March 1, April 5 and May 3, 7 p.m.

All are invited to join other storytellers for an evening of telling, learning, listening and encouraging. Come prepared to tell a story or just listen. The circle is a good place to learn what books and stories are out there, to tell your story, or to practice new stories and receive helpful feedback. The circle gathers on the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Weymouth Waterfront Library.

Learn to download audiobooks and e-books to your computer or mobile device from the library's digital collection. Bring your laptop, MP3 player, eReader, iPod, Kobo or other mobile device and learn what you need to do to start accessing library books on your electronic mobile device.
