Stay Young, Keep Fit!

Every Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Participants 55 and over are invited to increase their activity levels and keep fit at the Lillian Benham Library from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. every Thursday. Using interactive Wii technology, participants can enjoy “no impact” sports. There is no experience necessary and the staff will show you how for FREE! There is no pre-registration for this program. This program is possible thanks to funding from the Shelburne County Community Health Board.

Toddle-N-Tumble

Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Fun stories, games, toys and snacks for children from birth to preschoolers presented in partnership with the King Street Family Resource Centre at the Lillian Benham Library every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The program runs until beginning of June. Please call the branch for more information.

Autobiographies and Memoirs

Thursdays through Feb. 23, 7 p.m.

Author and instructor Kathleen Tudor will be your guide during these writing sessions delving into autobiographies, memoirs, journals and diaries at 7 p.m. every Thursday from Jan. 5 through Feb. 23 at the Lockeport library. There is no registration necessary.

Valentine Party 

Saturday, Feb. 11, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Youth ages five to 12 years are invited to the Lockeport library Valentine Party from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11. Participants will be making a Valentine craft, listening to stories and enjoying a snack.
